TQHI was established in January, 1998 by Dr. Aihan Kuhn.
In October 2001, it became a non-profit organization with 5 directors and many volunteers. Since then TQHI has organized many activities to create a positive influence in people's lives.
Our intention is to provide education and training on the use of the Chinese healing exercises like Tai Chi and Qi Gong for preventing illness and injury, bettering health and improving longevity.
We promote research on the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine through scientific inquiry. TQHI researches the effects of Chinese exercise combined with western medical protocols for patients with chronic diseases and the diseases for which Western Medicine has no cure.
Cycle Boston is a T-Shirt and design company based out of Boston, MA. The logo represents man and bicycle coming together as one.
Our mission is to donate profits from our T-Shirt sales to bicycle advocacy groups as well as non-profit organizations for cyclists in Boston. Our T-Shirts are made from 60% combed cotton and 40% polyester, making them soft, yet durable for Boston's everchanging weather conditions. With every shirt sold, Cycle Boston will donate a small amount of it's proceeds to bicycle advocacy groups and cyclist friendly non-profit organizations in and around the Boston area. This small donation will hopefully go towards newer bike lanes, more bike racks, and overall a friendlier city for cyclists.
The mission of our website is to expose the community to bicycle related topics such as local bike laws, local bike shop, maps and routes, local non-profits and bicycle advocacies, and the latest in bicycle related news and trends. Vagabonds Open Mic is an event that is held once a month. It is free of charge and is completely open to the public. We host the event as an alternative evening out in Boston, in a very relaxed, open-minded, bohemian environment. Vagabonds Open Mic features singer/songwriters, poets, spoken word artists and comics. We also offer free refreshments, soda and sandwiches.
The Woo Factor is a Jazz, Soul, and Funk band that is based out of Boston. Currently gigging at restaurants, clubs, and bars, The Woo Factor is available to be booked for any event where fresh and hip music is needed.
